Care & Maintenance Guide
To keep your home furnishings in the best condition and extend their life, we provide you with the following care and maintenance suggestions.
1. Cleaning and Maintenance
Furniture (wood, metal, fabric, etc.):
Wooden furniture: Wipe wooden furniture regularly with a clean soft cloth and avoid using chemical-containing cleaners to avoid damaging the surface. For coated wooden furniture, use a professional wood cleaner to clean it to maintain its luster.
Metal furniture: Wipe the metal surface with a clean damp cloth and then wipe it with a dry cloth. Avoid prolonged contact with water to prevent rust or corrosion. For rust, you can use a metal cleaner to remove it.
Fabric furniture: Clean according to the product instructions. Most fabric furniture can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or wiped with a damp cloth. If it is a removable part, you can remove it for cleaning regularly. Avoid excessive friction to prevent the fabric from wearing out.
Carpets and floor mats:
Vacuum regularly to remove dust and dirt.
For machine-washable carpets and floor mats, wash them according to the care label. If it is not suitable for washing, please use dry cleaning or professional cleaning services.
Avoid long-term exposure of floor mats to sunlight to prevent fading.
Kitchen and bathroom accessories (such as shelves, etc.):
Use a soft cloth to clean metal and glass surfaces, and avoid using hard brushes to prevent scratches.
For accessories that are susceptible to water stains, such as faucets and bathroom mirrors, wipe them dry regularly and keep them dry to avoid scale accumulation.
Use mild detergents and water for cleaning, and avoid using strong acid and alkaline chemical cleaners to prevent surface corrosion.
2. Moisture and insect repellent
Moisture-proof:
Keep household items dry and ventilated, especially wooden furniture and fabric products, and avoid long-term exposure to humid environments.
You can use desiccant or moisture-proof bags and place them in cabinets and drawers to prevent furniture and clothing from getting damp and moldy.
Household items should be stored away from excessive moisture, especially in humid environments such as bathrooms and kitchens.
Insect prevention:
For household items such as clothing, bedding, and carpets, check regularly for signs of insect infestation and use suitable insect repellents or natural fragrances (such as lavender, eucalyptus, etc.) for prevention.
When storing wooden furniture, ensure that there is no water stains and moisture, and check regularly for signs of insect infestation.
